Users can start with a central node and add branches, or describe a topic and let Miro AI create a structured map of related themes and connections. The result remains editable: people can expand branches, rearrange the structure, and connect it with other board content, making it useful for brainstorming, problem analysis, strategic planning, and team alignment.

Users can describe a topic, idea, or problem on a Miro board, and Miro AI generates a structured mind map with multiple branches, related themes, and connections. The output provides an editable starting structure for brainstorming or exploring a complex subject.
Branch expansion and hierarchy
Starting from a central node, users can add child nodes to build supporting ideas, subtopics, or related tasks across multiple levels. When a branch needs more substance, Miro AI can suggest related ideas or expand existing content, helping turn scattered input into a clearer hierarchy.
Shared-canvas collaboration
The mind map lives on Miro’s shared infinite canvas, where teammates can edit together in real time or contribute asynchronously through comments and additional content.
