What is Wordware?
Wordware is an integrated development environment for building AI agents and applications with everyday language. Instead of requiring users to begin with conventional programming, it lets them describe what they want an agent or application to do and assemble the result around prebuilt tools and language models. This makes it relevant to people without formal coding experience as well as teams that want to explore automation and turn an idea into a working AI workflow.
Users can shape a workflow through a combination of natural-language instructions, drag-and-drop components, model selection, and project configuration. For more structured behavior, Wordware also exposes concepts such as loops, branches, type safety, and code execution, so a workflow can move beyond a single prompt. The resulting projects can cover text or image generation, data analysis, and automation, and can be deployed through an API for personal projects, developer-led builds, or collaboration among people with different technical backgrounds.
Key features of Wordware
Natural-language building
Users describe the intended task in everyday language and use that description to build an agent or application without starting from conventional program code.
No-code workflows
Users can arrange workflows by dragging in prebuilt tools, selecting models, and configuring instructions, giving non-programmers a way to assemble a process for their own needs.
Structured execution controls
Loops, branches, type safety, and code execution let a workflow express multi-step or conditional task logic when a simple prompt is not enough.
Deployment and collaboration
Completed AI applications can be deployed through an API, while people with different backgrounds can participate in development for personal projects, automation work, and cross-functional collaboration.
