What is ClippingMagic?

ClippingMagic is an online tool for removing image backgrounds and preparing the result for further editing. Its Auto-Clip AI creates an initial cutout, while the Smart Editor lets users refine the foreground in photos, graphics, and scans instead of treating background removal as a one-step export. It is suited to e-commerce product imagery, marketing and presentation assets, graphic-design work, and other tasks that need a transparent or solid-color background with a controlled composition.

Users can upload an image or paste an image or URL, then use keep, remove, and hair marks together with the Scalpel for difficult boundaries; tools for cropping, rotating, resizing, color correction, background color, shadows, and reflections support the finishing pass. For repeated catalog work, the product provides bulk clipping, configurable defaults, and copy-and-paste marks across images, while export options include common image output controls plus alpha-channel and clipping-path exports for downstream workflows.

Key features of ClippingMagic

  • Automatic clipping with manual refinement

Auto-Clip AI produces an initial background-removal result, then keep, remove, and hair marks let the user guide uncertain areas before the Scalpel is used for precise boundary edits.

  • Edges, hair, and graphics handling

Smart Edge controls cover smoothing, local feathering, edge protection, halo cleanup, and corners; a dedicated Hair tool handles hair against clean backgrounds, while Graphics Mode preserves fine detail in logos and other computer graphics.

  • Composition, color, and presentation

After the cutout, users can crop, resize, rotate, and straighten the image, choose a transparent or solid-color background, and adjust brightness, shadows, highlights, temperature, saturation, white balance, and color cast. Oval, drop, and cast shadows plus reflections provide additional ways to finish a product image.

  • Batch processing and workflow export

Bulk Clipping processes sets of images and lets users download the results in batches; Sticky Settings and copy-paste marks help keep repeated edits consistent. Export controls cover file format, DPI, color space, JPEG quality, web optimization, alpha-channel masks, and clipping paths in SVG or TIFF for continued image work.
