What is Preview?
Preview is a browser-based production workspace for AI video, bringing story planning, visual generation, and shot direction into one project. It is designed for studios and creative teams that need to carry a project from an early concept through final delivery while keeping the work organized around individual shots.
An open canvas keeps references, takes, and scenes visible together, while an imported or written script can be translated into scenes, characters, locations, and coverage that the workspace can track. Teams can run image and video models side by side with shared references and settings, review versioned results, and retain a record of how each frame was made. Directors, filmmakers, producers, and hybrid AI teams can use the same environment to explore a visual direction, coordinate revisions, and move from commercial or short-form work toward larger narrative productions.
Key features of Preview
Canvas and script planning
The canvas keeps references, shots, and scenes together, and a written or imported script can be broken into scenes, characters, locations, and coverage that the project understands. This gives teams a workable planning layer for moving from loose ideas to an organized shot plan.
Multi-model generation
Preview can run image and video models alongside one another using shared references and settings. Results remain versioned in the workspace, so creators can compare alternatives, select takes, and iterate across a production without switching between separate model interfaces.
Project assets and visual continuity
Characters, locations, and props can be saved once and recalled in prompts throughout a project. The Camera Bag combines choices such as lenses, cameras, and film stock to establish a repeatable visual treatment, making it useful when a sequence needs continuity across many shots.
Agent-assisted review
The Preview Agent uses project context to expand creative directions, turn a script into a shot list, draft prompts, and recommend a suitable model for each shot. It can also map client notes to affected shots and stage revisions for approval, supporting review-heavy work where the director retains the final judgment.
