What this offer includes
New AWS customers receive $100 at signup and can earn up to another $100 by completing specified Explore AWS activities in the console. Free Plan lasts up to six months and ends earlier if its credits run out.
How to use it
Choose Free Plan during signup and provide a valid payment method for identity and anti-abuse checks. Complete each extra-credit activity before its deadline. The advertised maximum of $200 is not a single automatic signup payment.
Limits and billing
Free Plan generally does not upgrade automatically, but joining AWS Organizations or setting up Control Tower can switch the account to Paid Plan and immediately invalidate remaining credits. When Free Plan ends, the account closes and data is retained for 90 days; upgrading is required to recover or download it.
