How DevPrice discovers, verifies, and updates information
Discovery sources and provider-page verification are stored separately. DevPrice presents public facts and links without deciding whether a third-party service is safe or suitable to buy.
1. Discovery sources
Leads may come from provider websites, competing directories, social-media posts, newsletters, community discussions, and provider lists declared by open-source agent tools. The discovery URL is saved for later reuse.
2. Provider-page verification
A discovery post is not treated as proof. DevPrice opens the corresponding provider page and records the publicly visible offer, price, eligibility, region, expiration, and last-check time. Unknown conditions remain marked as unstated.
3. API price comparison
Quotes use the provider-listed input, output, and cached-input price per million tokens. Users choose CNY or USD for display, and cross-currency rows use the dated exchange-rate snapshot linked below each table. Results sort by the displayed input price by default.
4. Updates and corrections
Saved provider, pricing, terms, and source links are revisited periodically. When a public price or offer changes, the current record and verification time are updated. Corrections can be submitted through the public repository.
